Frequently asked questions

Do I need to do anything after installing Otter Lib Mod?
No—Otter Lib Mod is a library that works in the background. You only need it installed if another mod lists it as a dependency. Once installed, you won't see it in your inventory or notice it during normal gameplay.
Why does a mod say it requires Otter Lib but I don't see it in my mods list?
Otter Lib Mod may be installed but hidden from the mods list because it's a library mod without a visible GUI. Check your mods folder directly to confirm the file is present, or try launching the game—if the dependent mod loads without crashing, Otter Lib is working.
How do I access config screens for mods using Otter Lib?
Open the mods list in-game, find the mod that uses Otter Lib, and look for a config button (usually labeled "Config" or with a gear icon). Mods using Otter Lib's config system will display their settings through this customizable screen.
Can I use Otter Lib Mod on its own without other mods?
Otter Lib Mod is designed only as a dependency for other mods and provides no content or features to players on its own. You should only install it if another mod explicitly requires it.
