All of this mod's overlays are client-side, so they only affect what you see, never the world. Setting up hotkeys lets you flip overlays on and off mid-build without opening menus.
Binding keys
Go to your controls settings and look for the mod's key bind entries. Assign keys to toggling the chunk boundary overlay, the light overlay, and the mob spawning overlay. Pick keys you can reach without leaving your movement keys, since you will toggle these often while building. If a key conflicts with another mod, the game will warn you.
Configuring appearance
Open the mod's config screen to adjust each overlay's look. You can typically change colors, opacity, and whether the light overlay shows numbers or colors. Tune the opacity so overlays are visible but do not hide the blocks underneath. If lines or numbers are hard to read against certain terrain, change the color rather than cranking opacity to maximum.
Keeping it usable
Because these are visual aids, leaving them all on at once can clutter your screen. Get in the habit of enabling only the overlay relevant to the current task, then turning it off. Your hotkeys make this quick, and your config settings are saved so you do not need to redo them each session.
