The Problem This Mod Solves

Normally, when you try to move custom MCA villagers through item form using hoppers, conveyors, or other automation, they either:

  • Reset to vanilla NPCs with lost customization
  • Create duplicate copies
  • Lose their family relationships and personality data

How This Mod Protects Your Data

This compatibility mod intercepts the villager data before it's lost. When a custom villager enters item form through any automation system:

1. All character data (name, appearance, personality, genetics) is preserved in the item

2. Family tree connections remain intact

3. No cloning occurs—only one copy exists

4. When the villager item is placed back down, they restore completely unchanged

Using Automation Safely

You can now:

  • Use hoppers to move villager items between storage blocks
  • Transport villagers through conveyor systems
  • Store them in compact automation setups
  • Manage large populations without data corruption

This makes it possible to build efficient villager farms and management systems while keeping your MCA Reborn custom townsfolk safe and intact.
