Retrieving Your Villager

When you're ready to bring a stored villager back, you'll need the villager item and a suitable location.

Placement Steps

1. Take the villager item from your inventory or storage container

2. Find an open space in the world where you want to place them

3. Right-click on the ground (or a block surface) while holding the villager item

4. The villager will spawn exactly as they were when captured—same appearance, name, personality, and relationships

What Gets Restored

Your villager returns with:

  • Custom skin and model appearance
  • Original name and gender
  • Personality traits and preferences
  • Family tree connections to other villagers
  • Any profession or trading data

Important Notes

The mod prevents the common bug where placing a villager item spawns a generic vanilla NPC instead. Every detail of your custom villager is preserved, making it safe to use Easy Villagers automation blocks for storage and transport without fear of losing your carefully crafted townsfolk.
