Selecting an Item to Copy

Open the item editor for the item whose data you want to duplicate. Look for a Copy or Copy NBT button within the editor interface. This stores the complete item data—name, lore, enchantments, NBT tags, and all properties—to a temporary clipboard.

Pasting to Another Item

Move to a different inventory slot or container containing the item you want to overwrite. Open the item editor for that slot. Find the Paste or Paste NBT button and activate it. The stored data will transfer to this new item.

Practical Uses

This is useful for quickly duplicating custom items without re-entering all properties manually. You can copy a fully enchanted, named tool and paste its data onto multiple blank copies. The paste function preserves the target item's ID, so you can't turn a sword into a pickaxe this way—only transfer properties between compatible items.

Confirm the paste operation and collect your duplicated item.
