How do I make a Steel Ingot?
Steel Ingots are produced by smelting or blasting Sponge Iron. Sponge Iron is the intermediate material you need before you can craft most steel-based blocks and machines.
What do I use Sponge Iron for?
Sponge Iron is smelted or blasted into Steel Ingots. It has no other listed use in the mod.
How do I craft a Block of Steel?
A Block of Steel is a crafting_shaped recipe made from Steel Ingots. It is a decorative/storage block for steel.
How do I get power from the sun?
Place a Basic Solar Panel on top of a Solar Panel Frame to generate power. The panel is the generating block and the frame is its mounting structure.
How do I store energy?
Use a Battery, Battery Bank, or Industrial Battery Bank to store power. Lithium Batteries are also available as a portable energy item.
How do I move energy between machines?
Use Energy Cable LV, Energy Cable MV, or Energy Cable HV depending on your voltage tier. Connect them between generators, batteries, and machines, and use an Energy Breaker or Energy Level Indicator to control and monitor flow.
How do I move fluids around?
Use Fluid Pipe for normal transfer and High Pressure Pipe for higher-pressure lines. Fluid Valve, Fluid Gauge, and Fluid Tank let you control, measure, and buffer the fluid.
How do I make a Wind Turbine?
Attach Wind Generator Blades to a Wind Turbine, and mount the turbine on a Wind Turbine Pillar. The blades are the rotating part and the pillar is the support structure.
How do I build a dam power setup?
Place a Dam Intake, Dam Turbine, and Dam OutFlow in the water flow, then connect the Dam Generator to produce power. The intake feeds the turbine, the outflow releases water, and the generator converts it to energy.
How do I drill for ores?
Use a Mining Drill, Steel Drill, Diamond Drill, or Deep Drill depending on the material and depth you need. The Deep Drill is the deepest-tier option for reaching lower resources.
How do I move items around my base?
Use Conveyor Bulk Basic, Fast Bulk Conveyor, or Express Bulk Conveyor to transport items. Storage Rack (Chest) and Barrel are the storage blocks you can feed them into.
How do I craft a Lathe Machine?
The Lathe Machine is a crafting_shaped recipe. It is a processing machine used in the mod's production chain alongside the Steam Boiler and Steam Turbine.
