How do I make a sign's text float without the wooden background?
Place a normal wooden sign and write your text on it, then hold a Phantom Membrane in your hand and right-click the sign to hide the background. The text will appear to float in mid-air while the wooden board disappears.
Can I make text float on signs I already placed?
Yes, the invisibility effect works on existing signs. Just hold a Phantom Membrane and right-click any placed sign to toggle its background visibility on or off.
What's the difference between glass signs and stained glass signs?
Glass signs are made from clear glass and let you see through them completely, while stained glass signs come in 16 different colors to match your base's aesthetic. Both types also have hanging versions available.
How do I craft colored glass signs?
Craft stained glass signs using glass blocks and sticks in the crafting menu—the exact recipe depends on which color you want to make. Each of the 16 colors has its own crafting recipe.
