Frequently asked questions

What are the main locations where I can find Dwarven Automatons ruins?
You can find ancient mechanical ruins underground in Blackreach (a giant cave system with an entire ruined city), in medium-sized mechanical halls called Raldbthar, and in the End dimension where End Dwarven Observatories float in the void.
How do I get materials to craft strong weapons and armor?
Defeat the mechanical enemies in ruins to collect scrap metal, then smelt the scrap metal into special ingots that you can use to craft heavy-duty weapons and armor.
What is the Dwarven Sphere and what does it do?
The Dwarven Sphere is a mechanical enemy that rolls around quickly like a fast ball and then opens up into a deadly fighter when it engages you.
Can multiple players on a server loot the same chest?
Yes, the mod has a Shared Loot System where every player on a server gets their own separate loot from the same chest, so no one misses out on rewards.
What is the Dwarven Centurion and how does it attack?
The Dwarven Centurion is a giant boss machine that attacks with high-pressure steam and heavy hits, making it one of the most dangerous enemies in the mod.
How can I make the mod more challenging?
You can edit the configuration files to give machines extra health, change how often enemies attack and how far they can see you, and control how often ruins appear in your world.
