Every setting in the mod config file, with what it changes.
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
allowDreamspaceNpcSpawningAllow Dreamspace NPC Spawning | Allows commands, spawn eggs, and creator tools to add NPCs or mobs inside Dreamspaces. Natural spawning stays blocked. |
allowSlipFromRandomAllow Random Slips | Lets Dreamshift occasionally start a slip on its own while a player is safe and eligible. |
allowSlipFromVoidAllow Slip From Void | Lets players slip into Dreamspace when they fall below the bottom of the world. |
allowedSlipDimensionsAllowed Slip Dimensions | Dimension IDs where players are allowed to slip from, such as minecraft:overworld. |
blacklistedSlipDimensionsBlacklisted Slip Dimensions | Dimension IDs where slipping is always blocked, even if the dimension is also in the allowed list. |

complexMaxPreferredItemsComplex Memory Max Preferred Items | Maximum remembered tool and weapon preferences retained in each behavioral profile. |
complexMaxRememberedChunksComplex Memory Max Remembered Chunks | Maximum heatmap entries retained per dimension. Colder memories are evicted first when this limit is reached. |
complexSampleIntervalTicksComplex Memory Sample Interval Ticks | How often the Complex samples broad player movement and presence. 20 ticks is about one second. |

enableDebugCommandsEnable Debug Commands | Allows operators to use Dreamshift debug commands for testing slips, slippages, scenes, and diagnostics. |
enableDebugLoggingEnable Debug Logging | Writes extra Dreamshift details to the log when debug logging is enabled. Useful for troubleshooting, noisy for normal play. |

enableFamiliarityTrackingEnable Familiarity Tracking | Tracks places players spend time in so slippage walls can appear in familiar areas. |
enableFracturedToolEnable Fractured Tool | Allows repeated workstation use to create Fractured Tool events that can pull players into Dreamspace. |
enableImmersivePortalsCompatEnable Immersive Portals Compatibility | Allows Dreamshift to use Immersive Portals for seamless slippage portals when the mod is installed. |
enableRealitySlipsEnable Reality Slips | Turns Dreamshift's slipping systems on or off. When this is off, players will not slip into Dreamspace. |
enableSlippageFacesEnable Slippage Faces | Enables Reality Slippage wall markers and portals. Turn this off to stop new slippages and hide existing ones. |
enableSlippageOverlayRendererEnable Slippage Overlay Renderer | Allows the fallback slippage overlay renderer to draw visible wall effects when it is needed. |
stillLifeEnabledEnable Still Life | Enables the natural Complex-generated Still Life in Familiar Backrooms. Operator and authored spawns remain available. |
familiaritySampleIntervalTicksFamiliarity Sample Interval Ticks | How often Dreamshift records where players have been. Higher values are lighter but slower to learn familiar places. |
familiarityThresholdFamiliarity Threshold | How much presence a chunk needs before Dreamshift treats it as familiar enough for slippage. |
debugSlippageForceOverlayFallbackForce Slippage Overlay Fallback | Forces the older translucent slippage overlay for renderer testing. Leave this off for normal play. |
