Pick the Right Block
A single
Demagnetizer covers a modest area, which is fine for a small farm or a single room. If you need to protect a large base, a big mob farm, or an entire quarry pit, use the
Advanced Demagnetizer instead. It has a noticeably larger working radius, so one block can replace several basic ones and saves both space and materials.
Plan Your Coverage
Walk the perimeter of the area you want to shield and estimate how far items travel before they reach a player. Place the Advanced Demagnetizer roughly in the center so its field reaches every corner. If the area is irregular or very long, use multiple units spaced so their fields overlap — overlapping fields do not conflict, they simply extend the protected zone.
Verify the Edges
Drop a test item at the farthest corner from the block. If it still gets pulled toward you, either move the block closer or add a second unit. Repeat until every drop point in your build stays put. For farms that span multiple floors, place one unit per level rather than trying to stretch a single field vertically.
