The Culinary Station is the core block of this mod, and everything else revolves around it. Your first job is to get one placed and powered up in your base.

Crafting the Station

Craft the Culinary Station using standard crafting-table ingredients (check JEI/REI for the exact recipe in your pack, since it varies). Once crafted, place it down like any other block. It does not need fuel or redstone to function — it is a manual crafting interface.

Opening the Interface

Right-click the placed Culinary Station to open its GUI. You will see input slots for ingredients and an output slot for the finished food. The station is designed to accept multiple food items at once rather than a fixed recipe grid, which is what makes it different from a normal crafting table.

What It Actually Does

Instead of combining items into a tool or block, the station combines edible items into a single custom food. The resulting food inherits properties from its ingredients — things like hunger restored, saturation, and any status effects the source foods carried. This means a sandwich made from a golden apple and a steak behaves differently from one made from bread and cooked chicken.

Start simple: put two basic foods in, pull the result out, and eat it to see how the stats combine before you start experimenting with rare ingredients.
