The whole appeal of this mod is turning a pile of random food into one efficient meal. Here is how to actually build one.
Choosing a Base and Fillings
Every custom food needs a base item that determines its shape — bread for a sandwich, a bowl for a soup or stew, and similar containers. Fillings are the foods you stuff inside. The station reads the fillings and merges their hunger, saturation, and effects into the final item.
Step-by-Step Assembly
1. Open the
Culinary Station GUI.
2. Place your base item in its designated slot.
3. Add fillings to the remaining input slots. You can typically stack several different foods.
4. Watch the output slot update — it previews the finished food before you commit.
5. Pull the result into your inventory.
The finished item is a single food object, so you carry one stack instead of five. That is the real win: inventory compression plus combined nutrition.
Practical Tips
- Effects stack, so combining two foods with the same buff can extend its duration.
- Avoid mixing foods that give conflicting effects unless you want the chaos.
- Test new combinations on a spare character or in creative first — some mixes are strictly worse than eating the parts separately.
