How to use tooltips

A tooltip will appear showing the contents of that container without opening it.

What you'll see

The tooltip displays:

• Item names and quantities stored inside
• A preview of what's in each slot
• Stack sizes for each item type

This works through walls and from a distance, so you can scan your entire storage room without moving around. Simply hover over each container to quickly identify which one holds the items you need.

Tips for efficiency

When organizing your storage, arrange similar containers together. As you become familiar with your layout, you'll be able to locate items faster by remembering which section contains what. The tooltip system makes this much easier than the old method of opening and closing dozens of chests.
