Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install CodeChicken Core Mod separately or does it come with other mods?
CodeChicken Core Mod is a dependency that some mods require to run, so you may need to install it manually depending on which mods you're using. Check your mod's download page or documentation to see if it lists CodeChicken Core as a required dependency.
Why am I getting crashes when using multiple utility mods together?
Multiple mods often need the same base code to function properly; CodeChicken Core Mod prevents these conflicts by providing shared systems that all connected mods can use instead of duplicating code. Make sure CodeChicken Core Mod is installed in your mods folder if you're using mods that depend on it.
What's the difference between CodeChicken Core Mod and CodeChickenLib?
CodeChicken Core Mod is the older version used in Minecraft 1.10 and earlier, while CodeChickenLib is the newer unified library for Minecraft 1.11 and above. If you're playing 1.11 or newer, you only need CodeChickenLib; older versions need CodeChicken Core Mod instead.
Can I use CodeChicken Core Mod on Minecraft 1.11 or newer?
No, CodeChicken Core Mod's functionality has been merged into CodeChickenLib for Minecraft 1.11+, so you should use CodeChickenLib instead. Using the old mod on newer versions may cause compatibility issues.
