How to Choose Between the Bonsai Pot and the Small Bonsai Pot

Size and Tree Compatibility

The two blocks in this mod look similar but serve different scales. The Small Bonsai Pot is intended for smaller tree types and takes up less visual space, making it ideal for decoration or tight builds. The regular Bonsai Pot accommodates larger trees and tends to be the better choice when you care about output volume.

If a sapling will not plant in one pot, try the other — the mod restricts certain trees to certain pot sizes. As a rule of thumb, if you want a tidy windowsill of tiny trees, use the Small Bonsai Pot; if you want a serious wood farm, use the full Bonsai Pot.

Practical Tips

• Both pots grow trees without dirt, water, or sunlight, so you can place them anywhere.
• Both pots are harvested the same way: right-click a fully grown tree to collect its drops.
• The pot keeps its sapling type after harvest, so you only plant once per pot.
• Use the Small Bonsai Pot for aesthetic builds and the Bonsai Pot for bulk resource gathering.

Mixing both in one base works well: line a wall with Small Bonsai Pots for looks, and keep a hidden room of full Bonsai Pots for your wood supply.
