Frequently asked questions

What is the main setting for Alpha Horizon Modernized Mod gameplay?
Gameplay takes place in a standalone custom dimension filled with exclusive blocks, ores, and structures, keeping you separate from standard Minecraft dimensions in survival mode.
How do wooden tools help with early game progression?
Wooden tools double the drops collected from natural world blocks, allowing you to gather resources twice as fast in the early game.
What special ability do copper tools provide?
Copper tools automatically place mined items directly into your inventory instead of dropping them on the ground.
How do you defeat the Mummy boss and what reward does it give?
You must use gold swords and arrows to damage the Mummy boss found in Desert Pyramids, and defeating it drops a key needed to unlock bedrock tools at Bedrock Altars.
What ore do you need gold tools to harvest?
Gold tools have a built-in Silk Touch effect and are required to harvest zinc ore.
How do you create brass tools and what is their benefit?
Brass tools are forged by combining copper and zinc, and they deliver extremely fast mining speeds.
