How do I start making Aegis Armor if I'm new to the mod?
Begin by gathering Netherite armor and the specialized materials required for your chosen set—each armor has its own crafting path. Once you have all four pieces of a matching set, equip them together to unlock your set's passive and active abilities.
What happens if I only equip 3 pieces of an armor set?
Partial sets do not unlock the special passive mechanics or active abilities—you must wear all four pieces (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots) of the same armor set for the full effect to activate. Mixing pieces from different sets will also prevent abilities from triggering.
How do I use the active ability for my armor set?
Press G to trigger your equipped set's active ability. For Pale Judge specifically, you can hold G to maintain continuous beam fire instead of single bursts. Each set's ability has its own cooldown, which displays on your custom HUD.
I'm using Juggernaut armor but the minigun aiming feels awkward—what am I doing wrong?

Can I use abilities from multiple armor sets at once?
No—only the active ability of your currently equipped full armor set is available. You must remove one set and equip a different one to switch between abilities.

Passive abilities work automatically while you wear the full set (like Graviton's fall damage reduction or Living Forge's heat buildup), while active abilities require you to press G to trigger them manually. Both only function when all four pieces of the same set are equipped.
Does Pale Judge's beam attack drain durability or use a resource?
Beam attacks are governed by cooldown timers shown on your HUD rather than durability loss. Holding G for sustained fire on Pale Judge will eventually trigger a cooldown before you can fire again.
Why isn't my armor set ability working even though I have all four pieces?
