Simply cast your fishing rod into water as you normally would—the data pack automatically gives you a chance to catch a crate instead of a regular fish. No special setup or crafting is needed; crates will start appearing in your catches right away.
What's the difference between crate rarities?
Crates range from Common to Mythic, with rarer crates containing more valuable and unique items. The rarity determines both the quality of loot inside and how often you'll encounter that crate type while fishing.
How do I open a fishing crate?
Place the crate on the ground as a barrel block, then right-click it to view and collect the loot inside. The crate will open like a normal barrel interface showing all the treasure you've caught.
Can I increase my chances of catching rare crates?
Fish in different biomes and conditions—certain environments may have different crate drop rates. Fishing more frequently and in varied locations will naturally increase your chances of encountering rarer crates over time.
