Frequently asked questions

Does this data pack work with the base Bewitchment mod alone?
Yes, the data pack adjusts spawn rates and drops for the base Bewitchment mod. The BetterNether hellhound feature only activates if you have BetterNether installed, but all other tweaks work without it.
How do I stop salt ore from clogging up my caves?
The data pack reduces salt ore generation by default. If caves still feel oversaturated, check that the data pack is loaded and enabled in your world—it should be listed in `/datapack list`.
Will this make creatures drop more loot?
Yes, the data pack increases item drops from Bewitchment creatures when you defeat them, giving you better rewards for combat encounters.
Why aren't hellhounds spawning in my BetterNether biomes?
Make sure both Bewitchment and BetterNether are installed, and that the data pack is enabled. Hellhounds may also require the correct light level and biome conditions—check that you're in a valid BetterNether biome.
