Mangrove Roots is a block in Minecraft that can be waterlogged, which lets water share the same space as the block.

Players chop it with an axe, and breaking it drops Mangrove Roots again, so it can be collected and placed elsewhere. It also serves as an ingredient in one crafting recipe.
