Mechanics and Configuration

Bestiary Progression

Players unlock new pages in the Bestiary by finding Manuscripts in chests within the mod's structures. Placing a Manuscript into the Bestiary GUI will unlock a random page detailing a creature's stats, behavior, and taming methods.

Stone Statues

When a Gorgon gazes at a mob or player, they are turned into a Stone Statue. These statues are blocks that can be mined with a Silk Touch pickaxe and placed as decoration. Players can use a Gorgon Head (dropped by killing a Gorgon) to petrify other mobs manually.

Configuration

The mod is highly configurable via the ice_and_fire-common.toml file. Server owners can adjust: * Dragon spawn rates and max health. * Griefing settings (whether dragons can destroy blocks). * Structure spawn frequencies. * Blacklists for certain dimensions.
