Flux Networks Mod FAQ

Flux Dust is produced through the fluxnetworks:flux_storage_recipe processing type rather than a standard crafting table recipe. It is a core ingredient used in other Flux Networks recipes.

Flux Core is a crafting component used in Flux Networks recipes, including the Flux Controller and Flux Plug/ Flux Point lines. It is obtained via crafting_shaped recipes.

The Flux Controller is crafted using a crafting_shaped recipe that consumes a Flux Core and other Flux Networks materials. Place it in your world to act as the central block of a Flux Network.

Place a Flux Controller, then attach Flux Plugs (to send energy) and Flux Points (to receive energy) to it. The Controller manages the network once Plugs and Points are linked.

A Flux Plug is a block that pulls energy from an adjacent source and feeds it into the Flux Network managed by a Flux Controller. It is crafted via a crafting_shaped recipe.

A Flux Point is a block that outputs energy from the Flux Network into an adjacent machine or storage. It is crafted via a crafting_shaped recipe.

The Flux Configurator is a tool item used to link Flux Plugs and Flux Points to a Flux Controller and to configure network settings. Right-click blocks with it to assign or adjust connections.

The Admin Configurator is a tool item that provides administrative control over Flux Networks, including wiping configurations. It is used similarly to the Flux Configurator but with elevated permissions.

Use the fluxnetworks:config_wipe_recipe processing type, typically triggered through the Admin Configurator or Flux Configurator. This clears stored network links and settings.

Flux Networks includes Basic Flux Storage, Herculean Flux Storage, and Gargantuan Flux Storage as blocks, each crafted via crafting_shaped recipes. Higher tiers store more energy.

Flux Block is crafted via a crafting_shaped recipe using Flux Dust and other Flux Networks materials. It serves as a crafting ingredient and decorative/storage block.

Basic, Herculean, and Gargantuan Flux Storage are each made with crafting_shaped recipes that consume Flux Core, Flux Block, and related components. Place them and connect via Flux Points to store network energy.
