What the 
Pigeon Box Does
The Pigeon Box is a storage and transport block for birds. It lets you capture a bird, carry it in item form, and release it elsewhere without the bird escaping or despawning. This is essential for moving rare species between bases.
Capturing a Bird
1. Place the Pigeon Box on the ground.
2. Lure or lead the bird near the box.
3. Right-click the bird with an empty hand or the box item, depending on your version, to capture it.
4. The bird is now stored inside the box as an item you can pick up.
Releasing a Bird
1. Place the Pigeon Box down at the destination.
2. Right-click the box to release the stored bird.
3. The bird will appear next to the box, retaining its tamed status and name.
Practical Uses
- Move birds across long distances without risking them flying away.
- Store multiple birds for breeding programs.
- Trade or gift birds to other players on a server.
Cautions
- Do not break a Pigeon Box while a bird is inside unless you are sure the bird will drop as an item.
- Some mythical birds may resist capture or require a special container.
