Enhanced Portals Mod FAQ

Enhanced Portals is a Minecraft mod that introduces a customizable portal system, allowing players to transport entities, items, fluids, and energy across vast distances and dimensions.

Yes. Enhanced Portals lets you create any size or shape Nether portal as long as it is a valid portal, which means a frame of obsidian with nothing else in the way.

A default Flint & Steel can only create portals of 6 portal blocks. To create bigger or smaller portals, you must first upgrade your Flint & Steel with two pieces of Glowstone.

The upgraded Flint & Steel has 128 uses instead of 64, and it can create portals any size.

Yes. You can take any one of the 16 dyes and use it on the portal; the dye gets used up and the portal becomes that color.

The Portal Modifier is the main block in the mod and lets you modify your portals in various ways, including changing the portal texture, removing particle or sound effects, and changing the portal frame to Quartz.

Hold the upgrade in your hand and right-click the Portal Modifier with it.

When creating a portal that you want to have the effects of the Portal Modifier, you must either right-click it with a Flint & Steel or fulfill its redstone signal requirement. Otherwise it will be a basic Nether portal.

The Basic Dial Device allows you to dial to a specific portal instead of going through each portal in the network. Both the entry and destination portal modifier require the Dialling Upgrade with a unique identifier set.

A portal created by the Basic Dial Device stays open for 38 seconds unless broken. The Automatic Dialler also keeps the portal open for 38 seconds.
