End Metals Mod 1.12.2, — Reference
Blocks
The primary additions of this mod are the Ore blocks. Each block has a hardness and blast resistance similar to End Stone (Hardness: 3.0, Resistance: 15.0), making them slightly more difficult to mine than their Overworld counterparts.
Vanilla End Ores
| Block Name | Mining Level | Primary Drop | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| End Coal Ore | Stone Pickaxe | Coal (1) | Provides XP upon mining. |
| End Iron Ore | Stone Pickaxe | Ore Block | Must be smelted into Iron Ingots. |
| End Gold Ore | Iron Pickaxe | Ore Block | Must be smelted into Gold Ingots. |
| End Redstone Ore | Iron Pickaxe | Redstone Dust (4-5) | Emits light when touched or mined. |
| End Lapis Ore | Stone Pickaxe | Lapis Lazuli (4-9) | Provides XP upon mining. |
| End Diamond Ore | Iron Pickaxe | Diamond (1) | High rarity; found in lower sections of islands. |
| End Emerald Ore | Iron Pickaxe | Emerald (1) | Extremely rare; generates in small veins. |

Modded Compatibility Ores
If compatible mods (such as Thermal Foundation, Industrial Craft 2, or Mekanism) are installed, the following ores will also generate in the End:
- End Copper Ore: Smelts into Copper Ingots.
- End Tin Ore: Smelts into Tin Ingots.
- End Silver Ore: Smelts into Silver Ingots.
- End Lead Ore: Smelts into Lead Ingots.
- End Aluminum Ore: Smelts into Aluminum Ingots.
- End Nickel Ore: Smelts into Nickel Ingots.
- End Platinum Ore: Smelts into Platinum Ingots.
- End Uranium Ore: Smelts into Uranium/Radioactive materials.
- End Iridium Ore: Extremely rare; used for high-tier tech recipes.
Smelting and Recipes
End Metals do not require complex machinery to process; they function identically to standard ores in a Furnace or Blast Furnace.
Smelting Recipes
| Input | Output | XP Yield |
|---|---|---|
| End Iron Ore | Iron Ingot | 0.7 |
| End Gold Ore | Gold Ingot | 1.0 |
| End Copper Ore | Copper Ingot | 0.5 |
| End Tin Ore | Tin Ingot | 0.5 |
| End Silver Ore | Silver Ingot | 1.0 |
| End Lead Ore | Lead Ingot | 0.7 |
Ore Processing Compatibility
If you have mods that add Ore Doubling (like a Macerator from IC2 or a Pulverizer from Thermal Expansion), End Metals are typically registered in the Ore Dictionary (OreDict). This allows them to be processed into two dusts or units of their respective metal, just like standard ores.
