How to Use the Elytra Slot

Wearing an Elytra Without Losing Your Chestplate

This mod adds a dedicated accessory slot for the elytra. Instead of occupying your chest armor slot, the elytra goes into its own slot, so you can keep wearing a chestplate at the same time.

To use it, open your inventory and look for the added elytra slot. Place your elytra into that slot. Once equipped there, it works like a normal elytra: jump from a height and start gliding as usual. Your chest armor stays equipped in its regular slot and continues to provide its protection.

If flight is not working, check that the elytra is actually in the accessory slot and not the chest slot, and that it has durability remaining. Removing the elytra from the accessory slot returns it to your inventory as normal.
