Editing Trades with Text Files
Custom Villager Trades stores its configuration in simple text files, so you can define trade offers without writing code or datapacks. Each entry describes a trade for a specific villager profession or for the wandering trader.
For every trade you can set the payment items and the reward items, using any item in the game. You also control the trade's profession level, how many times it can be used before locking, the XP it grants, and its price demand.
Rewards support extra detail: custom display names, specific enchantments, random enchantment ranges, and custom potion colors and effects. You can also add explorer maps that point to structures.
By default, new trades are added alongside the villager's existing offers. If you want to replace the defaults entirely, use the option to wipe them. You can also export the current trades as a template to use as a starting point.
