Furniture and Decor

BiblioCraft adds several pieces of furniture that serve both aesthetic and functional purposes.

Armor Stand

Unlike the vanilla armor stand, the BiblioCraft version allows for easy swapping of entire sets. Right-clicking a specific part of the stand with armor will equip it; shift-clicking will swap the player's current armor with the armor on the stand.

Desk

Desks can hold up to 9 books or items and provide a surface for writing. If a player places a Book and Quill on the desk, they can interact with it to write without removing it from the desk.

Table

Tables can be connected to form larger surfaces. A Dinner Plate can be placed on top of a table to display food items.

Fancy Sign

These signs allow for more customization than vanilla signs. They can display an item icon alongside multiple lines of text and can be placed on the floor, wall, or ceiling.

Clock

A functional grandfather clock that can be set to chime on the hour. It can be upgraded with a Redstone Chassis to emit a redstone pulse at specific times.

Printing and Duplication

The printing system allows players to mass-produce written books and maps. This process requires three main components: the Typesetting Table, the Printing Press, and the Print Press Chase.

The Process

1. Typesetting Table: Place a Written Book or a Map on the table along with a Print Press Plate. This will consume levels of experience to "burn" the data onto the plate.
2. Print Press Chase: Place the finished Plate into a Chase.
3. Printing Press: Place the Chase into the Printing Press. Add Ink (Ink Sacs or modded dyes) to the ink plate and paper to the press.
4. Operation: The press will automatically begin printing copies of the book or map until it runs out of materials.
