Ars Nouveau utilizes two distinct types of energy: Mana and Source.

Mana

Mana is the personal energy used by the player to cast spells. It is represented by a blue bar on the HUD. - Max Mana: Can be increased by wearing magical armor (Novice, Mage, or Archmage sets) and equipping baubles like the Ring of Mana. - Mana Regen: The speed at which mana recovers. This is also influenced by armor and artifacts.

Source

Source is the "world energy" used to power machines, rituals, and automated systems. It is stored in Source Jars.
