AIOT Botania Mod — Guide

General Mechanics

Mana Integration

Like standard Botania equipment, the higher-tier AIOTs (Manasteel, Elementium, and Terrasteel) utilize the Mana system for durability.

  • Mana Repair: If the player has a Mana-storing item (such as a Mana Tablet or Mana Ring) in their inventory, the AIOT will consume a small amount of Mana to repair itself instantly whenever it takes damage.
  • Durability Loss: If no Mana is available, the tool will consume its internal durability. Once depleted, the tool will not break but will become unusable until Mana is provided for repair.

Multi-Tool Functionality

The AIOT automatically detects the block being targeted to apply the correct tool logic: * Left-Click (Mining): Breaks blocks with the speed and harvest level of the corresponding material tier (e.g., a Manasteel AIOT mines at Iron level, while Terrasteel mines at Obsidian level). * Right-Click (Utility): * On Grass/Dirt: Tills the ground into Farmland (Hoe function). * On Dirt/Grass (Shift-Right Click): Flattens the ground into a Path (Shovel function). * On Logs: Strips the bark (Axe function).

Super Farmland

Exclusive to the Elementium and Terrasteel tiers, using the AIOT or specialized Hoe on grass/dirt creates Super Farmland. * Hydration: Super Farmland is permanently hydrated and does not require a nearby water source. * Stability: It will not revert to dirt if a player or mob jumps on it. * Visuals: It emits distinct pink particles to signify its magical properties.

AIOT Tiers

The mod adds five distinct tiers of AIOTs, each inheriting the properties of its base Botania material.

Tool Tier Attack Damage Attack Speed Special Properties
Livingwood AIOT 4.0 2.0 Low durability; cannot use Mana for repair.
Livingrock AIOT 5.0 2.2 Moderate durability; cannot use Mana for repair.
Manasteel AIOT 6.0 2.5 Uses Mana for repair; Iron-level harvest speed.
Elementium AIOT 6.0 2.5 Uses Mana; Spawns Pixies; Creates Super Farmland.
Terrasteel AIOT 9.0 2.5 Uses Mana; Fires Mana Beams; Creates Super Farmland.

The Manasteel AIOT is the first tier capable of utilizing the player's Mana pool for infinite durability.

The Elementium AIOT features the 'Great Fairy' effect, occasionally summoning helpful Pixies during combat.

The Terrasteel AIOT is the ultimate tool, combining the power of the Terra Blade with massive mining speed.

Specialized Tools

In addition to the AIOTs, the mod fills gaps in the standard Botania arsenal by adding standalone Hoes and Shears for botanical materials.

Botanical Hoes

While AIOTs include hoe functionality, standalone hoes are available for players who prefer specialized tools. * Manasteel Hoe: A durable hoe that repairs with Mana. * Elementium Hoe: Creates Super Farmland and has high enchantability. * Terrasteel Hoe: The fastest hoe, capable of tilling large areas and creating Super Farmland.

Botanical Shears

The mod adds Livingwood Shears and Livingrock Shears. These tools allow players to harvest leaves, wool, and vines early in the mod's progression without consuming iron. Unlike the higher-tier tools, these do not use Mana and rely on traditional durability.

Recipes

Crafting an AIOT requires the five base tools of the specific material. The recipe is shapeless, allowing you to combine them in any configuration within a standard 3x3 crafting grid.

AIOT Crafting Template

To craft any AIOT, combine the following items from the same material tier: 1. Sword 2. Pickaxe 3. Axe 4. Shovel 5. Hoe

Note: For the Manasteel, Elementium, and Terrasteel tiers, the tools must be fully repaired or have Mana available to be used in the recipe.
