Reaching the Aether
The Aether is a sky dimension reached through a portal built from
Aether Portal Frame blocks. Once the frame is assembled, activating it opens the
Aether Portal, your gateway between the Overworld and the floating islands above.
Your First Resources
Ambrosium is the foundation of early progress. You will find
Ambrosium Ore in the Aether's stone, which can be mined and crafted into a
Block of Ambrosium or used to make Ambrosium Torches. Zanite is another core material, stored as Blocks of Zanite.
Aether Grass Block,
Aether Dirt,
Aether Dirt Path, and
Aether Farmland make up the terrain you will build on. Aercloud blocks, including
Blue Aercloud, let you construct floating platforms and bridges between islands.
Keep the
Book of Lore handy — it serves as your in-game reference as you explore.
