Defining the mining area is essential for most machines. The mod provides several marker types:
| Marker Type | Usage |
|---|---|
| MarkerPlus | Place three markers to define the corners of a 3D rectangular area. Right-click the origin marker to create the frame. |
 Flexible Marker |
A single-block marker with a GUI. Right-click it to manually adjust the X, Y, and Z dimensions of the mining area. |
 Chunk Marker |
Automatically aligns the mining area to chunk boundaries. Useful for the  Chunk Destroyer. |
| Waterlogged Marker | Specialized markers that can be placed underwater without being destroyed or creating air pockets. |
