Why disable pulling?

By default, Wooden Hoppers pull items from inventories and entities above them. Disabling this creates a push-only hopper that only accepts items from the sides or from above via another hopper.

Configuration steps

1. Open your mod config file (usually in the config folder of your instance).

2. Find the Wooden Hopper Mod settings.

3. Set woodenHopperPullItemsFromInventoriesEnabled to false to prevent pulling from chests and other inventories.

4. Set woodenHopperPullItemsFromWorldEnabled to false to prevent pulling dropped items.

5. Save and reload your world.

What changes

  • The Wooden Hopper will no longer extract items from containers placed above it.
  • It will only accept items pushed into it from other hoppers or droppers.
  • The tooltip will indicate the disabled functionality when you hover over the block.
  • This is useful for creating controlled, one-directional item flows where you want explicit input sources.
