Accessing Configuration
Spear availability is controlled through the mod's config file. After running the game with Spear Core Mod installed, navigate to your Minecraft folder and open config/spearcore-common.toml. This file contains all toggles for which spears appear in your world.
Enabling Vanilla Material Spears
Set enableVanillaSpears to true to activate spears crafted from standard Minecraft materials: wood, stone, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite. Each material tier follows vanilla weapon progression, so better materials deal more damage and have improved durability.
Adding Copper Spears
Copper spears are disabled by default. Set enableCopperSpear to true to include them. Copper spears occupy a tier between stone and iron, making them useful for mid-game progression.
Applying Changes
After editing the config file, save it and restart your game. Changes take effect immediately on world load. You can toggle spears on or off at any time by editing the config and restarting.
Consider your playstyle when configuring—enable all spears for maximum variety, or limit them to specific materials for a more focused progression experience.
