Charging Attacks from Horseback

One of Spear Core Mod's unique features is the ability to perform charged thrusts while riding mounts. This creates devastating momentum attacks—your mount's speed combines with your charge power for massive damage.

Executing Mounted Charges

While riding a horse, llama, or other rideable mob, hold right-click to charge your spear attack. Your mount continues moving forward, building momentum. Release right-click to unleash a high-speed thrust that deals damage based on both your movement speed and charge level.

Three-Stage Charge Effects

The three-stage charge system activates different effects:

• Early stages deal moderate damage with knockback
• Mid-stages increase impact and push enemies further
• Full charge delivers maximum damage and can knock riders off enemy-mounted mobs

Combat Strategy

Use mounted charges to close gaps quickly or escape dangerous situations. The knockback effect is particularly useful for separating clustered enemies or dismounting hostile riders. Build your charge while approaching, then release at point-blank range for optimal effect. This technique is especially effective in open-field combat.
