Understanding Nocturnal and Diurnal
Nocturnal is a trait that slowly repairs your gear during nighttime while also increasing damage output. Diurnal does the opposite—it boosts performance during the day. Materials from Twilight Forest and The Undergarden often carry Nocturnal traits.
Crafting a Nocturnal Build
1. Gather materials with the Nocturnal trait (check material descriptions in your workstation)
2. Craft a full set of tools and armor using these materials

Maximizing Effectiveness
Combine Nocturnal gear with traits like Restoration or Devouring to stack healing effects. Use your Nocturnal tools during night raids or cave exploration to keep your gear in top condition without visiting a repair station. Switch to Diurnal gear during daytime for consistent performance, or maintain both sets for different situations.
Nocturnal works best for players who do most of their mining and combat at night.
