How to Harvest and Use Compat Mod Materials

Finding Materials in the World

SilentGear Compat adds new materials that spawn naturally in specific dimensions and biomes. Materials like Cloggrum and Froststeel come from The Undergarden, while Fiery, Knightmetal, and Steeleaf are found in Twilight Forest. Midnight Iron and Voidmetal spawn in the Overworld in specific conditions.

Mining and Processing

1. Use an appropriate pickaxe to mine ore blocks of compat materials

2. Smelt or process the raw ore according to the material's requirements

3. Combine materials in SilentGear's workstations to create tools and armor

Crafting Alloys

Many compat materials can be combined into alloys. For example, combine materials from different mods to create hybrid alloys like Plasteel or Arcmetal. Use a furnace or crafting station to blend these materials, then use the resulting alloy in your gear.

Each material carries unique traits that reflect its source mod's original abilities.
