Specialized Crafting

Rustic adds two primary manual crafting stations for processing raw materials.

Crushing Tub

The Crushing Tub is used to extract liquids from items. To use it, place items inside and jump on top of them repeatedly. * Grapes -> Grape Juice * Olives -> Olive Oil * Ironberries -> Ironberry Juice * Apples -> Apple Juice * Sugar Cane -> Sugar and Water

Evaporating Basin

The Evaporating Basin is used to dry out liquids over time, leaving behind solid items. * Water -> Salt * Ironberry Juice -> Tiny Pile of Iron Dust * Apple Juice -> Sugar

Blocks and Decoration

Rustic provides a massive variety of aesthetic blocks for medieval builds.

Building Materials

  • Slate: A dark grey stone found in large underground deposits. It can be crafted into Slate Chiseled, Slate Tile, Slate Pillars, and Slate Bricks.
  • Clay Walls: Crafted with clay and sticks, these come in various patterns (Cross, Diagonal, Vertical) reminiscent of Tudor-style architecture.
  • Stone Pillars: Available in Granite, Diorite, Andesite, and Slate variants.
  • Painted Wood: Wood planks can be painted in all 16 colors using dyes.

Furniture and Lighting

  • Tables and Chairs: Available in all wood types. Chairs can be sat upon.
  • Lattice: Decorative iron or wood grids.
  • Lanterns: Medieval-style light sources that can be placed on floors or hung from ceilings.
  • Candles: Crafted from Beeswax and String. They can be placed in groups of up to four on a single block.
  • Chandelier Rings: Large iron rings used to hold multiple candles or lanterns.
  • Gargoyles: Stone statues that can be placed on the edges of buildings for a gothic look.

Storage

  • Cabinets: Wall-mounted storage that functions like a chest but takes up less floor space.
  • Barrels: Used for bulk item storage. They can be stacked.
  • Liquid Barrels: Used to store up to 16 buckets of any liquid.
  • Pots: Decorative ceramic containers that can store a small number of items.
