Set Up a Solid Color Background for Character Renders
Access Background Settings
Open your shader options menu (usually Shift+O or via Video Settings). Look for RenderKit-specific panels controlling environment and backdrop rendering.
Configure Solid Color Mode
1. Locate the background or sky replacement option
2. Disable sky rendering or switch to solid color mode
3. Select your desired color using the color picker or RGB sliders
4. Adjust opacity if needed to ensure complete cutout
Position Your Subject
Place your character model or structure in front of the solid backdrop. The flat, uniform background will make it easier to isolate your subject in post-processing or use directly for thumbnails.
Fine-Tune Lighting
Use the flat lighting controls to ensure your character is evenly illuminated without shadows falling across the background. Adjust light direction and intensity until the subject stands out clearly against the solid color.
Test Your Render
Take a screenshot to verify the background is completely uniform and your subject is well-lit. If shadows appear on the background, reduce shadow intensity or reposition your light source.
