Remove World Shadows for Clean Thumbnail Shots
Disable Shadow Rendering
Open shader settings and find shadow-related controls. RenderKit provides options to minimize or completely remove world shadows that would otherwise darken ground and surfaces.
Adjust Shadow Intensity
1. Locate the shadow strength or darkness slider
2. Reduce it to zero or near-zero for a completely shadow-free scene
3. Test by moving around your subject—no dark patches should appear on terrain or blocks
Maintain Lighting Definition
With shadows removed, use the flat lighting system to define your scene. Position directional lights to create subtle depth without harsh dark areas. This keeps your render clean while maintaining visual interest.
Check Block Visibility
Ensure that removing shadows doesn't make your build look flat or washed out. Adjust ambient light levels to balance brightness across all surfaces, so details remain visible without shadow definition.
Capture Your Shot
Once satisfied, position your camera and take your screenshot. The absence of world shadows combined with controlled flat lighting creates ideal conditions for thumbnail graphics and promotional renders.
