Enhance Sky and Cloud Appearance for Different Times of Day
Access Sky Settings
Open the shader menu and navigate to the Sky, Atmosphere, or Daylight category. REAlite Shaders includes dedicated controls for sky rendering.
Customize Daylight and Sunset
- Sky Saturation: Increase color intensity for more vivid blues during day or richer oranges at sunset. Lower values create more washed-out, realistic tones.
- Cloud Density: Adjust how many clouds appear and their opacity. Denser clouds create dramatic lighting; sparse clouds show more sky.
- Cloud Brightness: Control whether clouds are bright white or more subtle. Brighter clouds catch more light during sunrise and sunset.
- Horizon Color: Some versions allow tweaking the color gradient where sky meets landscape.
Observe Changes Across Time
Test your adjustments at different times—early morning, noon, sunset, and night each render differently. Use the time command to cycle through periods quickly if needed. Take screenshots to compare before and after. Remember that cloud behavior depends on your world's weather system, so test during both clear and rainy conditions.
