How do I turn on REAlite Shaders after installing it?
Open your Video Settings in-game, go to Shaders, and select REAlite Shaders from the list. The shader will activate immediately and you'll see the visual changes to lighting, water, and sky.
Why does my game look washed out or too bright with this shader?
Check your brightness and gamma settings in Video Settings—shaders can interact with these values. You may also need to adjust the shader's own settings through the Shader Options button to find a balance that suits your monitor.
Can I use REAlite Shaders with other mods like Optifine or Sodium?
REAlite Shaders works best with Iris (the shader loader for Fabric) or Optifine, depending on your mod loader. Avoid running multiple shader mods at once, as they conflict with each other.
My FPS dropped a lot after installing this shader. How do I fix it?
Lower your render distance and disable or reduce shadow quality in the Shader Options menu. If you're on a budget PC, turn off reflections or reduce water quality to regain performance.
