Equipment and Items

Elytrats

An Elytrat is a special item that allows rats to fly. * Equipping: Shift-use a rat with an Elytrat item, or let a rat pick one up from the floor. To remove it, shift-use the rat with a bare hand. * Behavior: Elytrats will fly to follow players through the air and will dive-bomb enemies during combat.

Rat Pouches

Pouches are used to store and transport rats. Stored rats do not age and retain all health, names, and status effects. * Usage: Use on a rat to pick it up. Shift-use an empty pouch to gather all rats in a 16-block radius. Shift-use a filled pouch to release all rats.

Staves

Staves cannot be crafted. They have a 5% chance to be held by a rat when it spawns in a village or is born. Taming the rat allows the player to take the staff. Using a staff issues a 15-second order to nearby rats.

• Harvest Staff: Rats harvest mature crops and replant seeds. If they have Bone Meal, they will fertilize crops.
• Love Staff: Rats will breed nearby animals (and themselves) if the appropriate food is available on the ground.
• Collection Staff: Use on a block to make rats mine that specific material. They can break blocks with a hardness of 1 (increased by +1 per level of Strength). Haste increases mining speed by 20% per level.

Mask of Rat

A rare headgear item with unique properties. * Acquisition: Purchased from Wandering Traders (40 Emeralds), a 0.5% chance from breeding baby rats, or by killing the player 'doctor4t' on a server. * Properties: Provides 1 armor bar and has high gold-tier enchantability. Repaired with Phantom Membranes. * Effect: The wearer cannot hurt rats. All status effects (Invisibility, Strength, etc.) and enchantments on the mask are shared with all of the wearer's tamed rats.

Recipes

Most items in Rat's Mischief follow a 'Bundle-like' crafting pattern.

Note: Staves and the Mask of Rat are uncraftable.
