Troubleshoot Login Issues and Timeouts

Understanding Freeze Protection

When you join the server, you'll be invisible and frozen in the login room. This prevents unregistered players from breaking blocks or attacking others while they set up their account. You cannot move or interact with anything until you register or log in.

Dealing with Login Timeouts

The server automatically kicks players who take too long to type their password. If this happens to you:

1. Rejoin the server

2. Quickly type /login <password> or /register <password> <password>

3. Have your password ready before joining to avoid timeout

IP Auto-Login Not Working

If you expect to skip the login room but don't:

1. You may be connecting from a different IP address than usual

2. The server admin may have reset the IP whitelist

3. Try logging in manually with /login <password>

4. Once authenticated, your current IP will be remembered for next time

Account Already Exists

If you see an error that your account exists but can't log in:

1. Double-check your password spelling and capitalization

2. Ask a server admin to use /clearloginattempts on your account

3. If you've forgotten your password, ask an admin to /unregister you so you can create a new account
