R Authorization Plugin FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Do I need to register every time I join the server?
No. After you register once, the plugin remembers your IP address. The next time you join from the same connection, you'll log in automatically and skip the password screen entirely.
What happens if I forget my password?
Ask a server admin to run /unregister to delete your account, then you can register again with a new password. Make sure you choose a password you'll remember this time.
Why can't I break blocks or move after joining?
You haven't logged in yet. Type /login to unlock your character. Until then, you're frozen in the login room to protect the server from account theft.
I got kicked for taking too long to type my password—what do I do?
Just rejoin the server and log in faster. The plugin has a timeout limit to prevent people from leaving unregistered accounts sitting idle. If you keep timing out, ask an admin to run /clearloginattempts on your account.
Can I change my password without asking an admin?
Yes. Type /changepass while you're logged in. You must type your current password first, then your new password twice to confirm it.
Why am I invisible and can't interact with anything?
You're unregistered. Type /register to create an account, then type /login to unlock yourself and start playing.
How do I know if my IP is blocked from the server?
If you can't join at all and see a rejection message, your IP may be blocked. Ask a server admin to check /blockedips and remove your address if it's there by mistake.
Can the server owner see who logged in and when?
Yes. Admins can type /auth to view the full login history, including player names, IP addresses, and timestamps of every login.
What if I join from a different internet connection—do I need to log in manually?
Yes. Auto-login only works from IP addresses the plugin has seen you use before. From a new connection, you'll need to type /login with your password.
Does this mod work on single-player worlds?
This is a server-side plugin designed for multiplayer servers. It won't do anything on single-player worlds since there's no one else to protect accounts from.
