Optimize Daytime and Nighttime Sky Appearance
Access Sky and Atmosphere Settings
Open shader options and find sky-related controls. Project Shaders provides separate adjustments for daytime and nighttime visual presentation.
Adjust Daytime Sky
Look for settings controlling:
- Sky brightness and saturation during day cycles
- Cloud appearance and density
- Sun intensity and color tone
Increase brightness for a more vibrant daytime, or reduce it for overcast, muted tones. Adjust color temperature to shift between warm (orange-tinted) and cool (blue-tinted) skies.
Customize Nighttime Atmosphere
Modify night sky settings such as:
- Moon brightness and glow
- Star visibility and density
- Overall darkness level
- Ambient light during night (how much light remains without torches)
Test Across Cycles
Ensure transitions feel smooth and that both day and night remain visually distinct. Nighttime should feel appropriately dark while still allowing gameplay without excessive torch placement.
