Ore Refining Basics

Prodigy Tech's Ore Refinery turns raw ores into dusts and byproducts rather than simple ingots. Feed it ore and enough heat, and it outputs materials like Iron Dust, Gold Dust, Emerald Dust, Diamond Dust, and Nether Quartz Dust. These dusts are the inputs for later crafting, so refining is not optional — it is the main material pipeline.

Setting Up the Refinery

1. Place the Ore Refinery and supply it with heat from an Aeroheater or Blower Furnace via Air Funnels.

2. Insert raw ore. The refinery will process it into dust plus occasional bonus outputs.

3. Collect dusts and route them into a Magnetic Reassembler or Atomic Reshaper to convert them into usable ingots and advanced components.

Crystal Growth

Crystal growth uses Energion Crystal Seed and Energion Dust. Place a seed and feed it Energion Dust in a heated environment; over time it grows into a full Energion Crystal. The Automatic Crystal Cutter and Crystal Cutter split crystals into seeds and dust so you can repeat the cycle. Aeternus Crystal and Inferno Crystal follow similar growth logic but require different heat tiers — check the Handbook for each one's temperature range before building the setup.
