The standard Minecraft snow particles during Protomanly's Weather snowstorms are simple and lack visual interest, especially when you're standing in a snowy biome or watching from indoors.

What This Pack Changes

PMW Precipitation Redone replaces snow particles with more detailed versions that animate and fall more naturally. Each snowflake appears more refined, giving winter weather a polished, atmospheric quality.

Best Results

Snow improvements are most noticeable when:

• You're looking up at the sky during active snowfall
• You're in snowy biomes like taiga or tundra
• You have decent render distance to see particles falling from far away

The detailed snow pairs exceptionally well with shader packs, which add lighting and depth effects that make the snowflakes shimmer and feel more three-dimensional. Install both together for the best winter aesthetic.
