PlasmaCraft Mod — Guide
Caustic Liquids
The defining feature of PlasmaCraft is its array of caustic liquids. Unlike water or lava, these liquids have unique properties and can be highly volatile when mixed.
Liquid Types
- Acid (Green): Found in surface pools and underground. It melts most blocks and deals rapid damage to players without protection.
- Radionite (Blue): A glowing radioactive liquid used for basic plasma weaponry.
- Plutonium (Purple): A high-energy liquid found deep underground.
- Netherflow (Orange): Found exclusively in the Nether; can be used as a potent furnace fuel.
- Cryonite (Light Blue): A freezing liquid that does not emit light and can freeze nearby water into ice.
- Neptunium (Yellow): A corrosive substance used for specialized plasma cells.
- Uranium (Light Green): Highly radioactive and essential for thermonuclear items.
- Obsidian (Black): A dense, liquid form of obsidian used for heavy-duty plasma applications.
Liquid Interactions
PlasmaCraft liquids follow complex physics rules: * Acid + Water: Produces Clay. This interaction is a useful way to farm clay blocks. * Caustic + Caustic: Most caustic liquids, when touching each other, will trigger a Caustic Explosion. This explosion is often powerful enough to destroy the source blocks, leaving a crater behind. * Melting: Acid pools will slowly "eat" through surrounding soft blocks like dirt, grass, and sand.
The Plasmificator
The Plasmificator is the central processing unit of the mod. It is used to convert filled vials of caustic liquids into refined plasma or energy cells.
Crafting Recipe
To craft a Plasmificator, arrange the following in a crafting table: * Top Row: Iron Ingot, Glass, Iron Ingot * Middle Row: Glass, Furnace, Glass * Bottom Row: Iron Ingot, Redstone Dust, Iron Ingot
Operation
- Place a Filled Vial (e.g., Acid Vial, Radionite Vial) in the top slot.
- The machine will process the liquid, consuming the vial's contents.
- The machine returns an Empty Vial and the resulting Plasma or Energy Cell.
- If there is no room for the empty vial, the machine will drop it on the ground.
