Use Wings to Switch Between Elytra and Chestplate Mid-Flight

Activating Wings Flight

Equip any chestplate enchanted with Wings. While wearing it, double-jump by pressing your jump key twice in quick succession. Your chestplate will instantly swap for an Elytra, letting you glide through the air. This works even if you don't have an Elytra in your inventory—the enchantment provides the flight gear temporarily.

Landing and Returning to Normal

When you touch the ground, the Elytra automatically swaps back to your original chestplate. You'll return to normal movement without losing your armor or taking fall damage. This makes Wings perfect for quick escapes, reaching high places, or crossing large gaps without needing rockets.

Combining with Other Enchantments

You can add other enchantments to the same chestplate to create a versatile piece of armor. Pair Wings with defensive enchantments like Unstable or Defuse to stay protected while airborne, or combine it with mobility enchantments for even more control.
